On Tuesday, June 27, 2017 THE VOID announced the opening of its newest VOID Experience Center™(VEC) located in The Rec Room (which is part of Cineplex), Toronto’s newest destination for ‘Eats & Entertainment’ which brings together an incredible amusement gaming experience with exciting live entertainment and unforgettable dining experiences, all under one roof.
Residents and visitors to the Toronto area are able to step beyond reality and into the Ghostbusters: Dimension at The Rec Room’s brand-new location at the city’s historic Roundhouse which opened to the public on June 27.

- Original and Beloved Storylines – Enter unexplored worlds filled with immersive and entertaining adventures. Step beyond reality and into the world of favorite franchises, including Ghostbusters, where adventurers track and trap supernatural foes through a New York apartment complex.
- Physical Sets – Custom stages and wide array of sensory effects, designed specifically for VOID experiences, are used to fully draw participants into the digital world that’s been mapped over the physical space.
- RAPTURE™ Gear – THE VOID’s proprietary equipment – including a virtual reality headset, accessories and tools and a companion vest that allows environmental effects to be felt from multiple points using Haptic feedback – melds the physical and digital worlds together.
