The Daily Herald reports on the progress being made on THE VOID headquarters and very first Void Experience Center in Pleasant Grove, Utah. Read an excerpt below:
Pleasant Grove has added a unique street name on its map, VOID Way — which joins other unusual and historical names such as Sam White’s Lane, Loader Avenue and Harvest Moon Drive.
VOID Way will provide access to a long-anticipated, 70,000-square-foot entertainment center called The VOID, which stands for Vision of Infinite Dimensions.
“We would recommend that we not name this street after the business,” said Ken Young, Pleasant Grove community development director.
City Council members on Tuesday unanimously approved the request anyway. They also unanimously approved the site plan for the center, located at approximately 1740 West and 700 South.
Describing its establishment as a hyper-reality entertainment venue, The VOID company has been based in a Lindon industrial business park the past few years. In May, The VOID founders announced plans to open the company’s first entertainment center in Pleasant Grove.
