a step beyond reality
People that have come to THE VOID describe journeys and memories from adventures they’ve had in new places. This is made possible by our hyper-reality experiences where people interact with elements that appear to be digital, in a physical way. They physically walk through new worlds. They touch and interact with digital objects. This creates moments where participants have to remind themselves that what they are doing isn’t real.
The most intense and complete sense of subconscious presence that I experienced, occurred within a system called The Void.

Fantastic content is crucial to creating true hyper-reality, and it has to be the starting point. New York Times bestselling author, Tracy Hickman, leads a team at VOID Studios that craft stories to specifically ensure participants are engulfed in the new worlds they are exploring.
Next, our detailed digital worlds are created by our industry leading designers and developers and mapped carefully over physical stages laden with responsive sensory effects. This ensures the environments feel and act the way they should. But that isn’t enough. Bringing the two together seamlessly requires THE VOID’s proprietary hardware and software. This is both worn by participants (RAPTURE gear) and built into our stages.
“Your mind can’t figure it out, so you just accept it, and the virtual world becomes very real to you. Then you are interacting with other people in that new place, further reinforcing the reality of what you’re doing,” says James Jensen, Chief Visionary Officer at THE VOID.
We have pushed the limits of engineering and are known for creating the most premium immersive entertainment available today. And all this adds up to some pretty great reactions from our guests.
Creating moments where people step beyond reality like this is what we live for at THE VOID.
